Annual National Conference of Foundation of Head and Neck Oncologists of India was hosted by Vidarbha Society for Head and Neck Oncology. Dr Madan Kapre was the Organizing Chairperson.

The entire conference was a grand success. There were over 450 delegates from all over India and a team of 16 delegates from Bangladesh. International faculties were Dr. Roberto Puxxedu from Italy, Dr. Cherie Anne Nathan from USA, Dr. Fredrico Biglioli from Italy, Dr. Vin Paleri from UK.

All faculty and delegates appreciated this as the best conference they had ever attended.

Pre conference live surgery workshop was held at operation theatre of Neeti Clinics. 3D telecast of surgeries was transmitted to the conference venue at Radisson Blu Hotel. Total Laryngectomy, Thyroid, Parotid and LASER Laryngeal Surgeries were conducted.

• Advances in Immuno Histochemistry by R. Ravi, Pathologist.
• Evidence Based Management of Neck Nodes in Oral Cancers by Dr. Neeti Kapre Gupta, Head and Neck Surgeon.

Innaugration of the conference was at the hands of Shri Nitinji Gadkari Hon Minister for Road, Transport, Shipping and Highways. Shri Ajayji Sancheti MP and Shri Vijayji Darda MP were Guest of Honour. Patients operated for oral cancer at Neeti Clinics, presented choir music and expressed their thoughts on this occasion. The inaugural ceremony was very unique and appreciated by all.

Dr. Madan Kapre delivered prestigious” Foundation Oration” titled “Evolution in Isolation”. Dr. Kapre highlighted the importance of peripheral centers in treating Head and Neck Cancers, the challenges involved and methods to overcome these challenges.
