Annual Conference of Asia Pacific Thyroid Society (APTS) was held at Bangkok. Dr Madan Kapre was Advisor and invited faculty at the conference. Dr Kapre gave a talk on “Management of Large Goitres in Tribals of Melghat region”. He was Panelist for panel discussion “Approach to indeterminate thyroid nodule”

There were faculty and delegates from China Taiwan South Korea Japan Russia and other countries of the region. Total about 1000 delegates from 55countries.

All appreciated the surgeries performed on large goitres in tribals of Melghat in resource constrained setting of rural hospital.
